My kitchens have always been gathering places. 

At the B&B, most mornings there’d be a guest hanging out at the breakfast bar learning how to poach an egg or getting the recipe for my World Famous Potato Rosti.

Every morning for 8 years I cooked breakfast for guests from all over the world and met some amazing people. It was very hard work but I was proud that Riverview B&B was #1 in Chilliwack with over 400  x 5 star reviews! 

My recipes are tried, tweaked and tested! I rarely follow a recipe to the letter and I'm always experimenting to try to make good recipes better

Love Cakes Bakery was so successful I had to close it – I just couldn’t keep up with the demand. 

I would be baking and decorating til the wee hours of the morning and then have to get up to serve breakfast. 

Every now and then I come “out of retirement” for a special occasion!

There’s nothing that infuriates me more than finding a recipe then having to scroll through pages and pages of verbosity. 

Then there’s the pictures!!! Here’s the onion. Here’s the onion chopped finely. Here’s the onion sauteeing in the pan. Oh My Lord! Makes me want to throw my phone across the room! Then to top it all off there’s a VIDEO showing all the steps they just showed you in the PHOTOS. THAT is not happening here! You will get the recipe and maybe a couple of pictures.
